Wifi module recommendations

Alexmouse

Has anyone got any recommendations for wifi modules that work well and are properly supported. I'm looking at the likes of Microchip, TI, BlueGiga, connectBlue, Gainspan etc. I'm basically trying to connect a few sensor output readings into a domestic internet environment.

I used Lantronix on a project five years ago.  It was easy to make the module a client and connect to an AP.  The only prob I had was some modules had bad FW.  Once I upgraded the FW it was a good experience.  I ran them in the thermal chamber higher than they were rated with no problems.

I also used Digi International, but that project was cancelled before I tested it.  I saw it connected, though, and was easy to get going.
