日前,德州仪器(TI)宣布推出业界最宽带宽的完全整合式传输/接收处理器,其中具有3G / 4G 无线基站、无线射频模块及政府通讯系统适用的数字预失真(DPD) 功能。GC533x 系统配备三组立即可用的处理器,提供宽带及多天线无线基站适用的完整且具有高灵活性的数字传输及接收解决方案,所需成本远低于高闸极数FPGA,完全不需要投入开发ASIC 解决方案的时间及成本。另外也提供完整的系统评估及参考设计套件,TI 将于世界移动大会(8 馆8A84 展位) 展示。

     GC533x 系列可达到148 MHz 第五位修正传输带宽,具有波峰系数减少(CFR) 功能,并具有宽带数字向上/向下转换器、内含分数重新取样器,48 位数值控制振荡器(NCO) 及自动增益控制,可同时支持四个传输天线及八个接收天线。结合低成本高性能TMS320C6748 浮点DSP,GC533x 平台可提供高性能适应性DPD 算法或者让客户实作自身DPD IP 的功能。

重要功能及优点

  • 可在两个收发器之间达到148 MHz 第五位修正DPD 带宽,CFR 为2 dB,优于竞争解决方案,能够在三载波LTE 运作中达到40% 的功率放大器性能,相邻通道泄漏比(ACLR) 为54 dB,输出达到48 dBm。
  • 相较于宽带应用的未修正讯号,ACLR 提升20 dB,而相较于窄频应用,则提升40 dB,同时针对3GPP、MC-GSM、WiMAX、WiBRO 及3GPP2 等标准提供多通道、多载波、多模及多频支援。
  • 内含四个传输天线与八个接收天线以及实际或复杂观测路径的接口,不仅能够实现2x2、2x4、4x4 及4x8 传输/接收解决方案,同时简化电路板配置,并且成本比FPGA 减少十倍。
  • 具有48 个数字向上/向下转换频道,可针对最宽达到184 MS/s 的数据速率配置,且内含四组分数重新取样器、48 位NCO 及大量向上转换器,能够发挥扩充频率及频率规划的弹性。 
  • 整合I/Q 不平衡修正,可提升宽带复杂接收及DPD 观测讯号链的性能,使得接收及回授模拟数字转换器(ADC) 的取样率与成本降低。
