Reinventing gadget design always details the device usually becoming thinner or smaller. The same holds true for phone design. They inevitably become slim in design but not necessarily smaller. We never really get a truly revolutionary design model that transforms the basic concept from the norm. That is until now with Branko Lukic's new phone design. Branko’s design eliminates ‘pocket dialing’ giving the user a truly ‘secured’ phone experience. The phone is called ‘Tarati’, Sanskrit meaning through, and incorporates a new style of dialing that borderlines magical. To dial the phone you simply pass your finger through the corresponding hole, that houses a small sensor, and that’s it. While you aren’t able to text or use apps of any kind, the design is truly original in its simplicity. All I can say is…..Nice.
