Passive RFID Tag

Hello,

I was looking for a Passive 13.56MHz HF RFID tag.

is was looking at this:

But i'm a bit confused if it can be passive, so to be powered up only by the RFID reader, and what is the maximum distance the tag can be read from.

It will vary, but don't expect more than a couple of cm.

Edit: Missed your power requirements question. Yeah, it's powered directly by the reader.

Ideally i would need about 6cm range, is there any similar tag i could use?

Larger tags contain larger antenna so increase the range, also a more powerful antenna (high gain) on the reader will push the distance out further without having to use active tags.
