Well, it was pretty much inevitable but RedBear Labs, the maker of the BLE mini, BLE nano, WiFi mini and the IoT HAT for the Raspberry Pi will become part of the Particle Family. RedBear was already working with Particle with the Particle Mesh devices and will continue with this work. Also, RedBear will continue to support their products until Q1 of 2019 so that is kind of cool. I've used a few of their products which have been pretty easy to add into an existing project, and since they typically used TI wireless modules, coding with the RedBear modules had multiple options. The combination of RedBear and Particle should prove to be a plus to the Maker community will even cooler wireless modules.
