无线网络媒体访问控制协议研究

媒体访问控制MAC(Medium Access Control)是影响无线网络性能的重要因素,IEEE802.11MAC标准已经广泛应用于无线网络,本文重点研究其中的分布式协调功能DCF(Distributed Coordination Function)和能够为业务提供QoS保证的IEEE802.11e协议。论文的主要研究工作和创新点如下: 1.通过对无线局域网、移动自组织网和无线Mesh网络的基本拓扑结构、典型应用、研究现状以及发展趋势的调研和分析后,明确了IEEE802.11 DCF以及IEEE802.11e的研究意义和价值。 2.对IEEE802.11体系结构、系列标准进行简要说明后,本文着重分析了与IEEE802.11DCF基本接入方式、RTS/CTS(Request To Send/Clear To Send)接入方式以及二元指数退避算法的工作原理和机制。 3、对于IEEE802.11DCF,最小竞争窗口、概率分布以及竞争窗口增长和递减因子是影响网络性能的重要因素,在回顾从这三个方面对DCF进行改进的相关文献后,本文分析了慢窗口递减等算法并不能在所有的网络拥塞状况下取得最优的效果。鉴于慢窗口递减等算法的局限性,提出一种竞争窗口增长因子自适应调整算法SCWGF(Self-adaptive algorithm of adjusting Contention Window' s Growth Factor)。 4、借助二维马尔科夫模型分析在竞争节点数量一定的情况下竞争窗口增长因子存在最优解,给出衡量网络拥塞程度的指标--冲突时隙占用率,在此基础上导出了SCWGF算法的伪代码实现,仿真结果表明SCWGF算法在基本接入方式和RTS/CTS两种方式下所能获得的归一化饱和吞吐量要优于原有的DCF算法以及指数递增指数递减算法EIED(Exponential Increase Exponential Decrease)。 5、QoS具有综合服务和区分服务两种服务模型,IEEE802.11e实现了基于区分服务的QoS,现有文献对IEEE802.11e的研究主要集中于业务的接入控制、提高EDCA总体性能以及公平性问题等方面,基于这些文献的分析方法,本文提出了一种能够满足定量带宽需求的QoS算法,该算法根据业务需求的带宽对AIFS(Arbitration Inter-frame Space)进行估计,然后利用实际带宽和需求带宽的差值对估值公式进行调整,以满足业务的定量带宽需求。
