平流层通信系统MAC层移动切换算法研究

平流层升空平台通信系统是天基信息系统网的一个组成部分,若干个平流层通信平台可以组成独立网络,也可以与地面移动网络互联。它有可能作为地面移动通信系统和卫星通信系统的重要辅助无线通信系统,该系统需要解决的一个主要技术是切换控制技术,切换管理将是影响平流层通信系统系统性能的关键因素之一。因此,本文在分析升空平台网络架构的基础上,研究已有的升空平台切换策略,设法完善和提高升空平台系统性能。 首先,本文介绍了平流层通信系统已有的初步切换方案,对切换类型、切换的过程进行了比较详细的描述。 其次,补充了在初步切换算法中没有规定的TDD帧结构、切换判决算法、BS之间通信方式、MS位置更新方式、切换失败后进行的操作和切换前后时隙的分配策略等问题,仿照802.16e的控制信令格式定义了升空平台初步切换算法中提到但没有具体定义的控制信令,实现完整、科学的硬切换过程。 之后,本文分析了影响几种主要切换性能指标如切换成功率的原因,提出了预留切换带宽和选择轻负载目标BS以提高切换成功率;利用非竞争测距和预注册机制降低切换时延;通过原服务BS向目标BS转发数据包消除切换过程的下行丢包的方法,提升了系统性能。 然后,本文根据之前提出的帧结构和切换方案采用OPNET仿真工具建立系统仿真模型。在此模型的基础上,实现了移动台在同一平台不同BS之间的切换过程,对提出的RSS、RSSH、RSST、RSSHT切换判决算法进行了比较,由仿真结果得出RSSHT算法性能最好;随后分别就切换成功率、切换算法对乒乓效应的抑制效果、切换时延和切换下行丢包数量等指标进行了优化前后的比较。分析结果表明,本文所提出的切换判决算法可以有效抑制乒乓效应的影响,优化后的方法能降低切换失败概率,减少切换时延,消除下行丢包,因而系统能能得到提高。 最后,对本文的研究工作进行了总结并提出了不足和下一步需要研究的方向。
