Hi folks, I'm in a bind here, I'm new to the rpi concept, recently ordered and received one as well as ordering the following sound card:

Unfortunately the card came with absolutely no instructions and no online reference. The intended purpose was to use this card to connect to my surround sound system:

I have done a little research but feel like I'm not asking the right questions, the fact is, I need some help to configure this from start to finish, including exactly where and how to enter any related code, what things I need to enable in the GPIO etc.
