First Prize Winner:
Invisible Hazardous Environmental Factors Monitoring System
Douglas Wong is the clear winner in this design challenge with an amazing, wearable, and polished project.
The judges were blown away by how polished this project was. The modules have clean and easy-to-use user interfaces, coupled with neat and tidy 3D printed cases.
The quality of videos, photos, code, and blog content produced by Douglas Wong is exemplary as always.
This project is a solid prototype for a product that could save many lives.
Prize: DJI Phantom 4 with Backpack and two extra batteries (retail value $1598)
Runner Up Prize Winner:
Dale Winhold's project might not be one of the most polished we have seen, but it has a lot of charm. It held very close to the theme of the design challenge and pushed Dale's knowledge, patience and community participation to a very impressive level.
This project is a great working design concept for a product that could save lives.
Dale's use of weaved flexible carbon strips was pointed out as a great design choice.
