As we all know, lighting is important.
It's crucial to plant development-
Ok I'm going to skip that boring intro since we all know plants need water yada yada yada.
I mean, I could talk about photocells and phosphorus and photosynthesis and whatever else is involved, and that would waste 30 minutes of your time.
To prevent boredom, let's jump straight into today's progress.
Here, let's get a visual aid first!
Well I did complain about shipping delays yesterday or so.
This was delivered by USPS 7 days early* !!! Can you believe that?
Which practically saved my life.
Anyway...
I'm using a warm white strip, since there weren't too much options, RGB was too expensive and I didn't want to deal with relays again.
Additionally, a warm white strip simulates the sun in a rather accurate way.
Well, so what is this?
I took a light strip, and basically tied it onto the enclosure. Oh, and I connected it to yet another outlet.
Amazing, right?
I know, I know.
What did I plant?
Well, over the past two months since I was selected, I planted some spicy peppers from some old dried peppers. They turned out well! (They're dried now)
I'm planting them now, to get... more?
Not that I need any more.
PRO TIP: DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE AND USE GLOVES + MASK + EYE PROTECTION WHEN TOUCHING RED CHILI PEPPERS BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE IT IMMENSELY PAINFUL AND A BURNING SENSATION. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. PLEASE TAKE CAUTION
Aside from that useful tip,
What's next?
There's a few days left and one blog left. I plan on making the system more efficient, and make a water storage compartment with the pump.
