Time for a short and quick update.
I took Project LOKI out for a little trip to the grocery store and wanted to show the results.
As you can see it was able to find 3 mac addresses while I was out.
Here is our Blue Book ready to carry out the clandestine adventures with Project LOKI.
Here you can see Project LOKI powered up and portable inside the Blue Book.
For further adventures I think I will have to look at better venting though since the wood and paper of the book box just traps the heat of Project LOKI.
Here I have pulled the 5000mAh battery out from under the Project.
If you look carefully at the first open book picture you can see the battery poking up on the left hand side.
By placing it there it keeps the weight all at the bottom if you flip the book up like a normal book and the battery actually helps everything fit pretty snug inside the book box.
I had picked up this battery a year or so ago since it was one of the few I could find that claims have pass through charging and was inexpensive.
Under $10 from Amazon minus shipping.
This definitely show promise for using the Raspberry Pi 3b+ with builtin bluetooth as a security device. Portability is a huge benefit with the screen and battery being the main limiting factors for size weight.
Reviewing Re4son's work shows he used a much smaller setup and attached it to a drone to create a mobile platform that could be remotely controlled.
While I would love to try out that as a future endeavor I do not have a drone that would be capable of carrying the setup so it will have to wait for now. I do have a smaller screen but my eyes prefers the larger screen if I am not limited by weight and size. :-)
Please feel free to message me if you come across any linux bluetooth tools you think could be promising and I will give it a go on see if Project LOKI can utilize it!
Thank you!
