I'm Vishwas. For those of you who already know me, here we meet once again! If we are meeting here for the first time please go ahead and read this paragraph. I work as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Tejas Networks, a leading Network equipment manufacturer in India. My work revolves around the design and development of complex FPGA-based high-speed boards for network equipment to cater to the needs of 5G. Previously I worked as a Research Assistant at Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems, one of the largest Cyber-Physical Sytems in the world where I worked on hardware design and development for robotics and drones i.e especially on autonomous drone charging pads, at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. I'm keen on research and development and I love electronics and building some cool stuff out of it. I write about my adventures in electronics on hackster.io and many other platforms. I have participated in many competitions both online and offline about hardware hacking and won some awards. My interests are embedded systems, circuit design, and product design. To learn more about me please visit my portfolio website http://vishwasnavada.github.io
Also, I have written articles, participated in design challenges in the element14 community, and won in some. Here's my profile: vishwasn
I received the Kit a couple of weeks ago. Now I'll be 3d printing the stand and start exploring the sensor and the MCU software environment.
Let's see what we can do with these amazing sensors and microcontrollers.
Block diagram of the project:
The initial experiment and plan is to get the data from the gesture sensor and make sense of it using the MCU board MAX32620FTHR
which already has an Arm Cortex M4 MCU. Which is Arduino IDE-friendly too.
Once I'm successful in the above experiment, my plan is to create models and train some gestures and use those for some interesting applications in
education and entertainment industry as a teaching tool or as an infotainment aid.
I'll keep you all posted on my upcoming blogs.
Thanks for your time!
