Preliminary problem with the mobile charger :-
Most mobile phone charger doesn’t comes with EMI filter attached at the primary side of the SMPS of the charger. So this charger passes conduction EMI noise to the secondary side or to the output of the charger. These noise affects the operation of highly sensitive devices or even cause the system to malfunction.
Solution:-
We use an EMI filter at the primary side of the mobile phone charger since we are going to use it for building microcontroler products and so forth. This will help us avoid any unwanted problem that we are not interested in dealing with for no reason.
Bellow picture shows how EMI filter is connected to the 5 volt mobile charger to filter conduction EMI noise.
