This is just a reminder of the timeline for The Eye on Intelligence Challenge
- Extra Credit Blogs Due 17th November, 2024
- Final Summary Blog Due 18th November, 2024
- Winners Announced November, 2024
- Prizes Shipped November, 2024
I took a quick look at the blogs.
Some of the participants are writing a lot. But I see a number of participants who haven't posted any extra credit blogs. As published in our program timeline, the extra credit blogs are not due until November 17th, so there's plenty of time.
There is no requirement that you have to blog each week. We only look at the final due date.
But I have observed a few things about blogging:
1. if you wait too long to post them, you post less and earn less points. My challenges are based on a point system.
2. If you wait to post the blogs all at once, you may cut them short, thus, possibly earning fewer points.
3. I have more recently noticed that if you squeeze everything into the final days, the final summary blog (worth 300 points) gets short changed, thus, earning fewer points.
Over the years I have done the experimenting challenges, only one person won a big prize by only writing a final summary blog. So, writing extra credit blogs increases the possibility that you will win a big prize.
