Design Challenge Prizes - What Do You Want?

For those of you who have applied to compete in a Design Challenge at element14 Community what prizes did you feel motivated you the most to sign up? If you haven't applied, what prizes would motivate you the most to sign up and compete?  What prizes would you like to see that haven't been offered yet?  Does a goodie bag of products get you motivated? How about a chance to meet and spend a day with your electronics engineering "celebrity" or maybe mentoring sessions from an industry expert?  

 

Please share your thoughts below to help us make prizes better for future Design Challenges.  (cc: Members Top Members RoadTests & Reviews )

    Because of amount of effort involved in these challenges, I generally only look at the ones that line up with projects I already have an interest in working on. To make that even more difficult, those interests change over time image

    Right now I would be more likely to sign up for challenges involving drones/quad-copters or robotics in terms of robot arms and rovers.

     

    Of course, if I'm really busy with other things, I will still pass, with much sadness image  (ps, that's why I've been MIA for the last 4 or 5 months).

     

    In terms of prizes (as well as the challenge kits and budgets), I have been motivated by prizes that match what I happen to need - like the iMac 5k in December, and the macBooks - or if they match my current interests of things I want to try out.

     

    I agree with the others in terms of number of prizes and who should be eligible (completed projects, and more than just one or two winners). Maybe also add a prize for someone drawn from all those who complete what was promised who didn't already win?
