Nucleo STM32L476 issue

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my Nucleo STM32 I received for the design challenge. I downloaded the drivers and got everything loaded. When I plug in the board the red LED on the board just flashes, nothing else. The jumpers are all in the right location. My computer won't recognise the board is even plugged in. I tried on my other computers and I have the same results.

Any ideas? I'm needing to get started on the developing of my project.

You get that sometimes. Annoying as you're unsure if it's a cable, the connection, a driver, or something else ...

They should color code 'power only cables'. Why it is not done? Of course the cables that come with those power adapters must be power only ones. But it is really difficult to keep track of them. If I know how to identify them, I can at least label them.
