Since I last wrote about the Experimenting with Waterproof Connectors program I will be launching soon, we have been discussing what to include in the kit for this program. My original post described the program. My updated post spelled out what I wanted to include in the kit.

This post is seeking feedback on additional parts to include in the kit. They are:

Hi Randall, I reckon the second and last ones (242125-10 and 336209-13-0250) are the most preferred from this choice, because they do not require the user to crimp their own cables (it requires kit that…

Gee, I had this cute project all worked out to utilize the updated list. It didn't need an RF connector. I dunno, I think as shabaz points out it would be easier to cablize the TNC and it translates…

A spectrum analyzer. Type N appear to be more or less standard for RF test equipment that's on the low GHz.

I like Type N, which are kind of like TNC but larger and very robust.

N connectors definitely work great, although I have nothing that uses them - What do you have that uses them?

Also N is really common for outdoor antenna cabling, although it all tends to be $$$.

The N is also great for interfacing to really fat coax : )

I do have some N connectors and maybe even a cable, just no instruments that use them. I doubt I will use them for my LoRa system. Relaxed
