How to Off the conductor on the both sides of Via

amar27686

Hi,

I am working on RF design. I want to off the conductor on the top and bottom side of the PCB. Because in my board front side i have antenna. If i put the via then, the via consuctor short to atenna.

In many of RF designs (PCB Boards) all the via are off. Means the connectivity will be there from top to bottom layer. But the conductor (Copper) is not visivle on the board. It will look like a small point not like via.

So , please help me to resolve the issue.

Regards,

Reddy

Take a look at https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/app-notes/index.mvp/id/5100 and the other tutorials. You did not mention your frequencies. In general, Critical guidelines for RF and microwave PCB Design | Embedded  gives some general highlights.

Both URLs are handy but for electronic newbies like me, the https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/design/techdocs/tutorials/index.mvp sub-site has excellent tutorials.
