I want to know about SLD pin in SD Card Breakout & connection of SLD pin with PSoC board. This is my first project, I don't have much idea about it.image

Hello, please find the SD card specification document, you find a clear explanation of all the essential signals to communicate with the reader.

Thank you Enrico. I saw this document & some datasheets also but couldn't find SLD pin & specification about it. My program is working but first i need to coonect SLD pin with controller. You know what is SLD pin in SD Card breakout & connection with controller.

To be honest, my though is that it is ... a typo image or (due mi ignorance) another way to call a signal usually called in a different way.

    So, I suggest the following:

    1. Connect as in your design and as far as you know the other pins
    2. See if the only remaining pin is this and connect to the remaining signal. If it work we know what it is else if not, if you don't put direct VCC I think that you can't damage it.
    3. Check with a tester (that is the reason that I sent you the truly SD card specifications, to avoid errors as this is a sort of official documentation) where this strange name pin in the breakout is connected to your sd card slot (that should correspond pin-to-pin) to the effective sd card pins). You should see what do they means with this signal.

The advantage (and disadvantage in some cases) of the breakout boards is that are a bare "pin export" from a chip that for some reason, i.e. SMD soldering etc., are difficult to use in a breadboarding environment.
