  • A $500 budget for additional parts
  • CadSoft Pro License
These lucky 15 are:
  • Mark Beckett
  • Abhijit Bose
  • Ravi Butani
  • Jonathon Caywood
  • Monte Chan
  • Ambrogio Galbusera
  • Kimmo Huoman
  • Hendrik Lipka
  • Pascal Martin
  • Jay Morreale
  • Inderpreet Singh
  • Frederick Vandenbosch
  • Daniel Williams
  • Douglas Wong
  • Michael Wylie
We have also put together 5 basic kits which contain the following -
  • Raspberry Pi Model B Plus
  • EnOcean Pi & Sensors
These will go to the following competitors -
  • Todd Cowley
  • Linas Karpavicius
  • Jeremy Kuek
  • Vishnu Raj
  • Eric Tsai
Not Selected? No Problem!
If you weren't picked for the challenge, yet still want to participate, please buy a Raspberry Pi B Plus, an EnOcean Pi and an EnOcean Sensor Kit and start creating; please blog about your project on a weekly basis on the Forget Me Not group, tag your blog posts with "forget_me_not" and be sure to tell us all about your build.

Hi Joshua, A pet idea is pretty cool too (and doing this is still a great way to get into IoT if you're interested in pursuing this anyway). I know some people working on projects involving pets, it definitely…

    Hi everyone -

I'm pleased to say that the great element14 shipping machine is starting to roll, and parts should start arriving all over the globe.  In most cases, people will not get all their kits all at once - there will be multiple shipments to get your equipment to you, so if you receive, say an EnOcean Pi and Sensor Kit by itself - don't panic, the rest will be on its way soon.

As ever, feel free to contact either myself or lslater should you have any problems.

    Thanks.

    Best Regards, Christian

That's great news.doctorcdf27 I've noticed that the EnOcean module: STM 302U (902 MHZ) is not available on Newark's website, will it be soon or should I look elsewhere?

    Hi Michael -

We're actually sending you an EnOcean sensor kit and an EnOcean Pi along with a Raspberry Pi B Plus - I just checked and both are in stock in Newark at the 902 MhZ frequency; the orders were picked up yesterday.

The Oscilloscopes will follow on shortly, along with a special receiver module from EnOcean.

    Best Regards, Christian

Strangely the STM320U ( I presume you meant that) isn't showing on the UK site either.

    http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/results.jsp?N=0&Ns=P_PRICE_FARNELL_UK|0&Ntk=gensearch&Ntt=EnOcean&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&suppressRedirect=true&originalQueryURL=

It only shows the 868 and 315 MHz versions

I've been looking because there are no additional items on the AUS/NZ website.

I know! The only option I have found is Digikey, and they're about 30 dollars each. I was hoping Newark would have them so I could use the budget.

    My suggestion

send an email to Christian, and see if there is someone in the local office to deal with.

They may be able to order them in as part of this.

For the NZ/AUS element14 they often show UK stock with a 6-7 day lead time, which is acceptable and understandable.

It's a great time for element14 to showcase these products. ... but you do need to be able to buy them.
