Sensor procurement

Hi everyone,

This challenge involves the air to be sampled and sensed. I was wondering if anyone would like to share sensor information and their vendor info because the element14 catalog falls a tad bit short on that side. Ravi has pointed out some vendors as:

You can tick off the temperature and humidity with the HDC1000 from the component list Frederick linked for you.

I went back to look at your project description, so here are your sensors:
    1. Air Temperature
    2. NO2 Levels
    3. Single Sensor for carbon monixide, alcohol, acetone, thinner, formaldehyde
    4. particulate levels in the air
    5. Humidy
    6. Carbon Monoxide (CO)
    7.O2
    8. Sulphur based gases and
    9. Nitrus Gasous

That's a lot of sensors. Do you have target accuracy for the measurements, or are you leaning towards a threshold detection?

The accuracy I am targeting is "what ever in the budget"
Most of it is proof of concept and the sensors can be upgraded as per requirement.

Sir thanks. I don't know where my head is. Compulsory parts, anything else I should know about? I missed that part, design half of it and this adds another to do on my list. Sheesh!

I think you got it now. As for parts I cannot reveal what sensors I find due to the nature of my job. I do, however, direct you to this nice video Dave Jones did of a Multi-Gas sensor teardown.
