Same here, but I am making up for it via software tutorials and keeping my fingers crossed that the passives arrive. This is the case where the term "reasonable cause" is used. Support from Wurth has been INCREDIBLE and I got the cap kit just like you. Please share info on any work since it's an excellent learning exercise for guys like me.
I've missed quite a number of "weeks", but without the parts to move forward there is no content to publish. I'd just be filling the E14 blogs with garbage.
This topic is worth discussion over in the Top Members forum. Personally I think instead of votes, there should be multiple columns on things like Scores on
Useful Tutorials and Guides
Completeness of Information and Sourcecode.
Presentation of material
Cohesiveness of content posted.
Technical Level of material supplied
Amount of work put into the build like use of circuits as opposed to bought out modules
Validity of formulated solution as in the practicality of system and components.
And Use of budget and allocated resources.
There are so many factors that make a design challenge a 'challenge' and everyone faces different hurdles in their path. Unlike a hackathon where everyone is in the same room, these design challenges spread out around the world where we all face different issues(personal issues aside). Every participant has different skills and it's very difficult to make a weighing machine to judge the amount of work done.
I went through a couple of polls and couldn't fine a single multiple-choice poll, so you're probably right about that - too bad, would be nice to have for this kind of polls.
Many of the projects are deserving of a community vote because of the level of useful information they have provided, however I agree one vote isn't enough! I don't know how it could work, but having several votes each could be awesome. But probably the system has no capability of allowing multiple vote selection in a poll.
Dragan sir- I respect what you are saying. Trust me when I say this, Ambrogio has the highest chances of winning the grand prize. You have nothing to worry about.
In a perfect world, we should have the ability to receive parts via email but that does not happen does it?
And technically the most technical design should win but in real life there is so much more
I think we are all friends here and help each other out anyway we can. I'm just going crazy with all the support Im getting and it a big motivation. Win or loose, I feel like a winner with all the support I am getting
