So many people here been taking the projects to very advanced levels, designing and using advanced particle sensors, solar power done right, etc. Really cool to see. And I know some of the contestants…

More votes should be going to Gan Eng Swee, Ambrogio Galbusera, Christever del Rosario and Janis Alnis to be honest. They have been tirelessly posting updates and keeping at it. Well done guys!

Dear sir,
If getting a 3D printer made me stop making projects, then my wife would have sold our Car a long time back(I drive a Tata Nano which is the same price as the Printer )

You are right. That sign needs to be changed... "Please Vote For IP and support our project".

And I am pushing some content to visit as we speak.

It doesn't do any favours by pushing the "vote me" ....however encouraging people to visit and vote is more liekly to find favour....

Thats why we have separate community choice and judges awards i guess. You may be right when you say that voting is done on the person but I am trying my level best on the votes as well as presentation in addition to the technical aspect.

Sure you could: "Vote Gan Eng Swee", "Vote Ambrogio", "Vote Christever", "Vote Janis", "Vote any project you like" !

Biggest problem is that voting is not done on the project, but rather on the person. The put most work in it, they deserve recognition.
