Make your wheels safer, smarter or more efficient with the element14 IoT on Wheels Design Challenge.

Integrate the low-cost  NUCLEO-L476RGNUCLEO-L476RG Development Board from STMicroelectronics into your project for the chance to win a prize package worth up to $1800.

The IoT on Wheels Design Challenge will choose 10 sponsored challengers to receive a Challenger Kit for FREE.

But anyone can join the Challenge as a non-sponsored Challenger. Here's how: Simply get the low-cost NUCLEO-L476RGNUCLEO-L476RG and integrate it into your project, as well as post 10 blogs about your design journey in the IoT on Wheels space (tagging your blogs 'IoT on Wheels').

The deadline for project submissions is 13th November.

To be eligible to win some fantastic prizes, including a Segway MiniPRO – a hands-free two-wheel electric scooter – you must blog at least 10 times on the Community detailing your project build.

All Challengers must build their projects in accordance with the Challenge's terms and conditions. All projects must include the NUCLEO-L476RGNUCLEO-L476RG.

    Good catch, John.

Perhaps my previous comment wasn't as clear as it should have been.

Yes, to be eligible to win, you must finish the Challenge and write a minimum of 10 blogs and use a minimum this part: NUCLEO-L476RG.

rscasny, I thought the Challenges have been changed from 10 blogs minimum to you must "Finish" the challenge and have 10 blogs minimum?  So if you put out 30 blogs but can not successfully finish what you were trying to do you have failed?

Once the applications are submitted, a panel of judges will read all the applications. they will chose 10 of the best applications. these people will receive the free kit.

But If the judges did not select you as one of the sponsored challengers, yes, you can join the challenge.

The only required part is: NUCLEO-L476RG.

You can use anything else in addition to this part. If you blog 10 times before the deadline, then you are eligible to win the prizes just as if you were a sponsored challenger. But you have to buy the board above.

    Per:

It’s Never Too Late to Join the IoT on Wheels Design Challenge

You don’t need to be a sponsored Challenger to join the Challenge. Anyone can join at any time before the project submission deadline. All you need to do is get the low-cost NUCLEO-L476RG and integrate it into your project, as well as post 10 blogs about your design journey in the IoT on Wheels space (tagging your blogs 'iot on wheels'). You will then be eligible to win some awesome prizes!

You may need a different part.
