So each step seems to have its pros and cons today I prepared a video for you on the carving process
So the program I am using for carving is https://www.vectric.com/products/vcarve-pro And the CNC I will be using is my MPCNC version 1 which has gotten a ton of revisions in the last 4 years but mine is still going strong so no sense in upgrading it quite yet. Certainly will be making a newer one for a laser engraver in the future.
You can make your own as well its on thingiverse.com and here is the link to the site where you can buy the kits https://www.v1engineering.com/
So lets start with where we left of from Blog #1 the main design here. but the best part! on to the video check it out.
So that took a lot longer then expected. Mind you it was paused while I slept so take a bit off the end time there but not much.
Oh right before I forget lets have a look at the holes being cut as well.
Next up will be printing components so on to the fun to make sure I have everything to scale and then will do the cleaning and prep work for everything and a ton of painting.
Note to self, Plywood is probably not the best for this project but with the time invested in it I am determined to make it work.
a little teaser for next post here is the headphone jack being printed.
