This project mainly deals with data communication, so it is difficult to show a lot of video about the project. Below I have attempted to show some of the pieces working

 

Here is a video showing if the bit B3:0/0 in the PLC is a 1 that an email will be sent alerting someone (in this case me) that an alarm condition is present:

Here is a video of the usb/RS232 communication to PLC in action. The red and green lights indicate transmit and receive activity.

 

 

Here was the premise of my project:

I was able to complete all of the communication necessary for this project. It is difficult to show the FTP transfers.

 

One of the things I will continue to work on is adding a web server interface for the configuration of the communication channel.
