So it is now the end of the available time for the current challenge. i guess i shold expect to be limited by time when i missed a couple of months of project time doing other things.

Like all good Sci Fi Series the installments have been limited in number and the viewer is left wanting more. Having stopped on a bit of a cliff hanger I do intend to resolve the threads left open in this series and will return in the next season with more. (should I be pushing a box set to sell to keep the fans hooked until next time?)

I have enjoyed the challenge and of trying to put together the project and I intend to complete this at some point (unfortunately this is not likely to be before the deadline in about 15 minutes)  It is unlikely to be of much real use as a navigation tool (the position is likely to be rather approximate in  nature - middle of the UK type information, rather than postcode accuracy of satnav devices) and would be rather larger than most people would want to carry around. However I think that within the design parameters of the device it would work well. The adventurer would normally be travelling in some form of large (obviously steam powered) vehicle so the size and weight would not be an issue. The accuracy would also not be a problem as the locations are always fairly in-specific in nature and a desire for such accuracy would be decidedly ungentlemanly.

so in true Sci Fi fashion......................
