I'm sorry that this design challenge went live in an unclear way. It happened partly because of a combination of templates not being updated and seeming lack of peer review. We'll be sure to address that.
Ultimately, the intention is that competitors join in discussions in the forums about their project and provide updates, help one another with any difficulties they discover, and the final project article blog covers its presentation and briefing on the development once they have everything in order.
