Hi All,

In the previous blog8 i have integrate the Eink display with XMC4200 and in this blog I'm going to do final integration for "Smart Hoe"

Integrating Eink Display:

Eink display project changes are brought into our main code. I want to display the light or motor status on the EPD screen.I m able

to write the text string using below code

eink154_setFont( &guiFont_Tahoma_14_Regular[0], _EINK154_SCREEN_COLOR_WHITE, _EINK154_FO_HORIZONTAL);
eink154_text("Light ON", 8,40,80)

But unfortunately i was not able to to write with partial update. So i just displayed only the Icons on the EPD screen.

Connection:

I was using bread board previously and now removed and attached XMC4200 board and Mesh kit into and wood and fixed

with direct soldering. Now the setup looks very solid after screwing. OUT and BAT lines are directly connected to the kit.

Battery & Solar panel:

The overall power is sourced form the 7.5Ah battery and its recharged with Luminous solar controller.

The controller out 12v is feed to the High Side switch 12v +BAT. The USB out 5V is used to power the XMC4200 kit.

The final setup looks like below.

Smart Hoe:

And here i have taken small size wood hoe. Pained with white color then added sticker in it to get some good look.

Then added the Mesh remote kit into mid of the Hoe handle, tagged with wrap and glue stick. Added 3V AAA size battery

holder to power the mesh remote. The hoe looks like below

Ground Setup:

To demonstrate the final working i had to setup small area (approx 1 square meter ) and it has papaya plants in it. So finally i fixed LED light setup and wiring

for that. Also made pipe connection with 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch converter for DC pump. The submersible pump is inserted into small plastic container and

fill the water in it.

Testing:

Finally excited to test my setup.Tested without Load functionality and works as expected.
