Update on kits: We have received one box of goodies - some are still missing. Hoping to receive them soon!

 

Civil work: Its going on slowly due to other commitments as well. Plan to finish this and plant seeds this week. Still confused between LED lights and Fluorescent tubes (primary driver is initial cost, dont want to spend so much at this stage). Inputs from the community are welcome.

 

Tasks for this week: Develop comfort level with EZR32WG kit and sensor puck. Run sample code and try to create a basic relay driver circuit.

 

Questions to the community: Can someone point me on implementing an electronically controlled nutrient mixture. Are there industrial attachments available for the same?

    Diagrams/a bit more detail/perhaps photos/video of the intended location will help the community get an idea what you're proposing, so we can give suggestions!

    has done some research into color spectrum, you may want to check his posts to see what spectra is available with different types of lights.

    There may be research docs/internet resources describing what colors different plants need - a few of the other challengers have been discussing it in their posts.By electronically controlled, do you mean electronic dispensing?

    There are quite a few ways, you could check out some medical methods like syringes powered with a motor (they have a name but I've forgotten it : ( or an alternative method is peristaltic pumps.
