Okay, so today I would like to explain some of the shopping I've been doing. First, I am ordering solar cells and looking into LEDs. (I found a sweet 10 dollar LED here Waterproof 670mA 36W Power Constant Current Source LED Driver (85~265V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme) The two of these, depending on the future size of the project, can range anywhere between 300ish-600ish dollars. (Buying single solar panels is cheap, but not that cheap). Also looking into growing media, but am still caught between my new and old ideas.... so might do a half-half deal? More to come depending on the plant. The cool idea of this blog is DIFFUSION!!!!!
Diffusion is my and all of our friends because it means that with a ventilated pipe connecting the project to the outside world, O2 and CO2 fall down their concentration gradient and I don't have to expend energy while making sure all the unwanted bacteria and mold stays out. I probably will have to start researching and snooping around other people's blogs for some fish feeding ideas. Going to play around with the box kit some more. Can't wait until Monday for the seeds, and then it's building and buying time!!!! Until then, experimenting and rescanning my designs/window shopping. Good luck to everyone.
