Win a Massive Raspberry Pi to Hang on Your Wall! (Winners Announced!)

This contest is now closed!  Congratulations to norman you are the winner of the Pi Massive!

In the Comments Below:

Share a Photo of Where You Intend to Hang the PiMassive!  Let Us Know Why You Deserve to Own the Pi Massive!

Wesley Gardner is in the process of moving so we will wait till he has finished moving and a plan is established for delivering the PiMassive to the winner.   To allow enough time to figure out the logistics we've extended the deadline for this contest.   If you have not yet submitted an entry there is still time to so.

Deadline for Entries (Extended):   December 1st, 2022

For anyone looking for beautiful wall art that's one of kind, it doesn't get more unique (or geekier) than the PiMassive.   The PiMassive is a 20x32 inch Raspberry Pi 3 B+.   It weighs in at 13.9 lbs, uses 1,041,084 mm of filament, took a grand total of 440 hrs of 3d printing and CNC work, and required a massive amount of painting time and cleanup.  You can read all about Wesley's Pi Massive build in his Design Challenge blogs or by watching his element14 presents Massive Raspberry Pi episode:

There's also this handy dandy wrap up post that summarizes his entire project in a single blog:  PiCasso Design Challenge - PiMassive - Blog #10 - PiMassive is Alive!

There's also this wrap up blog from his initial project:

Help us find a good home for the PiMassive by letting us know how you intend to use it.    Start off by taking a photo of the area where you're going to hang it,  letting us how or where you intend to install it on your wall.   Then let us know why you wish to own the PiMassive.

Feel free to get creative with your answers.  You can use humor to convince us of why you are deserving of the PiMassive, or make an emotional appeal such as a sentimental reason for wanting to own a PiMassive.  Maybe you want to hang a PiMassive on your wall as motivation or to stimulate your creativity when producing your own projects?  Are you interested in the PiMassive mainly to impress other people?   If so, then we want to hear all about it!

The PiMassive will breathe new life into any existing work or living space.  So, what's your story?  We're interested in hearing all about it, whatever it may be, to make sure the PiMassive is going to a place where it will be loved and appreciated.

  • Show us the wall space you will be using by taking a photo and sharing it with us.
  • Let us know why your wall space is deserving.

PiMassive Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Please note:

This is not a small item! And as such there may be a delay in getting it to you as we work out the logistics of delivery (which we'll handle) so while we have the terms and conditions for the competition for when the winner is decided, please have patience with us as we work this out when you're chosen as a winner!

I'd stick a Raspberry Pi in one of the RJ45 connectors and tell everyone the massive one really works.

     Hello everyone,

I am a big fan of Raspberry Pi. I wake up every day with a cup of coffee using my Red Pi Mug and then go to the office using my black drink bottle. I have all versions of the Raspberry Pi boards and even the blue version that was produce especially for Brazil.

I printed a giant poster of the Pi 4 board so it would be awesome to have the Pi 3 in a real big size too.

The only thing that is missing is an official mug for beer for all weekends!
