I need a way to feed my adorable bearded dragon, Ruth, when I go on camping trips so I'm making an IOT lizard feeder that I can control via gmail.

Nice straight forward design, I have been thinking of a cat feeder for the same reasons. The design that I was thinking of was based on one of those cereal dispensers you see in hotels. That would require bigger stronger motors to crunch through some cat kibbles on rotation. Too complex, this is a nice design.

You could also easily set it up to feed on a timer using Cron in the Raspberry pi if you are out of cell range while camping.

Thanks! I wanted to be able to put anything in there (she loves fruits and veggies), and be able to take it apart easily to clean it.
