    I'd use this kit to learn linux, tinker around with the GPIO possibilities and, when I have enough knowledge to know what I'm doing, make a portable Raspberry Pi Linux computer !

    I Would use this in my main tv since my current Media center takes up a lot of space , I used a lot of scrap parts to put this "half a laptop" together

    I have media all over the place. I will centralize on a NAS I already own and use the new Raspberry Pi together with Plex Media server to stream media locally and remotely. I will also use The Pi to SSH tunnel to my home network.image

    I'm robbing the parts from a few printers. I want to make a few sliders with multiple cameras to do time lapse shots of smaller works of art. I could utilize the pi as a controller and a place for the media to upload directly to. I would love to be able to control it with a smartphone app, but might settle with a couple speed controllers or just software within the pi. I'd have to see what my options are with the parts that are available.

    Thanks for your consideration;

    Jon
