  • Long time fan of you and your work Ben,

    You inspired me to start a portable N64 project back in college, I ended up making a semi AI program from another board at the same time in basic programming on a robot.

    Would love to see what I can do with the pi board and the media center setup. My original xbox is an all in 2 unit, replaced the power board 1 time and repaired the old one.

    I would be honored to get this from you or any other creation you have made. Again your work is awesome and truly inspiring.

  • I am planning on building a robot that will be able to move on voice commands, record video, play music, warn me of intruders, scare intruders and have basic conversations using a Siri or Cortana style app.  And maybe stream videos too.  I am just collecting supplies and learning code at the moment.

    Neil: I, as well, have entered this contest with hopes of winning. But I wanted to tell you that I LOVE you're plan. You're really thinking outside the box, and have a high potential to make a real difference on a global scale. Whether I am selected or not, I hope that you will be. It would be very interesting to see this come to fruition.

  • I would use it as the hub of a custom digital signal processor for guitars and other musical instruments.

  • I am so excited about the Pi media kit. My other Pi is really waiting for a partner to deliver what I am looking for.

     

    While the first one is working more as a file server, media server, torrent box, private cloud and sync server, the new comer will take up the responsibilities of being the media hub for the family. It will work as media player, home theater hub for me.

     

    I am just waiting for the new kit.
