Hello, I would love to see on the show you building an automatic soldering iron like what you did with your 'Great Glue Gun' episode. I've noticed that when you are soldering components, you place down the solder first, change what you have in your left hand, be it the solder or the wire that you're soldering, and re-solder it. I was thinking that it would be quite a bit less time consuming if you were to just have an automated system for dispensing the solder. One way that you could accomplish this would be to have an analog stick, like with your glue gun, and hook it up to a DC motor. Thank you for considering this build idea to be one on your show.
