I scored a broken Samsung navibot (its like a fancy roomba) and wondered if you could turn such a device (it does not work anymore as an autonomous device(motherboard cooked by litghning strike)) into an rc bot with DIY- First person view system, to make dust bunny hunting more fun.
I'm thinking about 2,4Ghz or 433Mhz(for better penetration inside the house) and 5,8Ghz for Video/audio connection
a mCU is needed to translate the rc commands into correct motor signals. i thougth about using a CC3Dor ardupilot- module to give the device return to home features, self stabilizing and Camera stabilisation.
Be aware that if you will not tackle this project..I will!...but I have to schedule it to someday next year..
