A Ceiling Crane!

My idea is to have a xy movement like a 3d printer/ cnc machine and for an z axis movement there is a crane with a grabber and maybe has a camra attached so that the user can see where the crane is. The user should be able to control it remotely ie from their bed or wheelchair via a computer. I am a person who has a dissabilty that limits my strength to only enough to use a mouse and keyboard i am unable to reach things far away but i believe that this idea could help me and others!

    Good point i forget to say/think of that! I think that it should lift upto ten pounds (A large bag of potatoes) i think its overkill so maybe somewhere between 5 and 10, five pounds is "A bag of sugar". it needs to lift things like a pint of coke or harddrive or anything someone would normally have in their home. I've just thought that it could help someone move a pillow or blanket. i think more is better but not enough to pull a ceiling down also plz let hear your thoughts.
