For $49.95 to CARDBOARD TECK INSTANTUTE gets you the "PINBOX 3000 CORE SYSTEM" a cardboard die-cut DIY tabletop pinball system.
Last year, Ben did the "Teensy Pinball Portable." which was amazing. I wonder if there might be any interest in a reboot on that project with the Pinball 3000 with the entry-level DIYer in mind. In other words, scaling down with maybe an off-the-shelf Arduino, shields, and prefab modules (ex. from Element14, Ada-Fruit, Sparkfun, TinkerKit, etc). The playfield would be simple and any bumper, target, etc. would be either cheap and widely available or designed in a way that those without 3D printers, laser cutter, etc could build.
Of course, it won't be as slick of a product as the "Teensy Pinball Portable" but more accessible to build for those who are just starting out in electronics and pinball design.
