I've started to watch TBHS las year and had the delight of watching multiple shows per day, I trully love 
the whole Mod/Create/Repurpose deal, I'm an Electronics & Computer Science engineer from south of the Border and would very much like to see a build of a combination setup that could handle these 3 task, (I get that the CNC requieres 'PUNCH' while the other two don't) but I guess there could be a middle ground) the catch would be to use non NEMA motors, but ratehr some of the recovered stuff like the parts of a flat bed scanner, old PCs, BRay/CD/Floppy drives,

Could be PC driven or RPI/Duino, and the Portable concept would be a definate plus.
