Mini 3D printer using old PC parts

Hi Ben,

I think it would be cool if you build a mini 3D printer using the stepper motors from old CD ROM drives. Every ones seems to have multiple CD drives laying around and this would be a cool way to get some use out of them.

get some old printers 4 or 5 should give you most of what is needed bigger and older the better

Have a look at 3ders.org - Construct a mini 3D printer for less than $60 using recycled electronic components | 3D Printer News & 3D Pr…, there they have done what you mentioned :-D You are not the only one with this idea . ..
