I have been looking into recycling old laptop lcds into multiple displays. In my research I discovered the video wall, which sounded really cool until I realized how expensive they are to set up. Then I found the PiWall, a video wall controlled by raspberry pis. I thought to myself now how cool would that be to use as a single monitor for a computer or Xbox. Do you think that would be possible? If so it would make for a fun build I'm sure. I hope you decide to do it.
