Hi,
first of all: great show, I love it!
The project idea I currently have in my mind: I've just moved to a new desk in the IT-company I'm working for. It's an open office space and a lot of colleagues putting up photos of their family etc. on these small acoustic walls which are seperating the desks. To put simply a picture, I found too boring. As I love Dilbert by Scott Adams (dilbert.com) I was thinking about creating something like a Dilbert-Photo-Frame, which is downloading the latest dilbert daily from the internet. As the URL of the latest Dilbert seems to be always in the format dilbert.com/strip/0215-03-17 this should work easy.
If done with a small display, a raspberry and a wlan connection, it wouldn't even need a network cable.
What do you think?
Beside that: thanks for the entertaining show which is very inspiring (and made me spend a fortune at the same time at element14... ;-)))
Greetings from Singapore.
