To Ben,
I was recently taking apart some DC motors and I saw how simple the wiring inside really was. I even thought that I could make one but it didn't work when I tried. So I thought I would see if you could.
Thank You
James Conway

the making of a motor is very simple all u need is a coil through which the current is to pass and a pair of magnets to provide the opposing force to the flux generated by the flowing current. I have actually done it and it was guite fun
you can also make a generator by doing the opposite
just rotate a coil in a field and u can get current at the two terminals
