The holy grail of arcade controls - Star Wars Flight Yoke

With less and less working yokes out there, the price of a Star Wars Flight Yoke has become more and more cost prohibitive for arcade enthusiasts out there.  However, there is no substitute for using this unique controller for playing SW, ESB, and ROTJ.

 

I would love to see if you can make a replica of this unique piece of arcade history using modern maker tools and machinery and get it running on Mame.

  • There were extremely difficult to reproduce.  But after 18 months of development, we did it!  In the process, we upgraded the nylon internal and external gears as well as replaced the plastic thumb buttons with aluminum for more reliability.
