OSA developed an ultra scope. Why not see if a pi is capable of not only controlling a telescope remotely, but also to transmit a feed to a PC.

Remote controlled telescopes are fairly easy to make these days.
Most of the mounts area easy to control, especially if they are Equitorial mounts.
An RPI with a camera would be easy to interface with a scope and has more than enough power to both control the drive and take pictures.
It would also be easy to set up a wifi link with a PC for a headless RPi, so all of the bits have been done.
It is just a matter of working out the details and implementing it off the shelf.
Do you have much observing experience?

Sorry I have no observing experience whatsoever, other than gazing at a few seasonal meteor showers. But seeing the ultra scope by OSA was fascinating. And I thought it would make a good project on Ben Heck to help the people of all ages see the stars and wonders in the night sky.
