As a student I do a lot of work at my desk. I've been thinking about the positioning of computer components on it. I thought that a keyboard flush within the desk would be pretty cool. Now I knew this would be too easy for the show, so maybe to make the project more advanced you could make the keyboard retractable into the desk. Then a board could cover up the cavity. This would allow you to do paperwork without accidentally typing on your keyboard.
PS. As a student taking a drafting course, this show really gave me a leg up in the design process.
