I've been wanting a real life Pacman table. With more and more programmable compact computers and interacting sensors. I saw an art project a while back that included a small "maze" and people controlling a steel ball with a magnet underneath that reminded me of Pacman. My idea is to make a remote controlled Pacman game.
Using something like a Sphero, you can control Pacman by rolling him over LED's that go out as he "eats" them. Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde all have set movements in relation to Pacman. Sensors in Pacman, each ghost, and all over the maze keep track of everyone's positions. Sensors at each power pellet activate and LED's in each ghost change blue and blink. This would be a big build, but I'm open to suggestions on how to make it more compact.
