The phone charger... I would have put the thermal charger closer to the heat.

The lights switch... I would use a server like muffenme or Mike Blais stated. I would recommend the phone activated ones like wemo or timers to save more money as well as dimmers.

the wireless light switch
I wouldn't have used a motor but a servo instead if wanted a simple project but I would have used ATTINY85 wired to a wireless receiver, a simple switch with a resistor going to ground, and a resistor going to a transistor. This transistor could allow you to power a mosfet or relay. A simple project.
