    Hi Ben,

I'd rather people don't mess with xbox power, it's not nice for both the xbox and the kids.

Why not make the project so much safer by interrupting the HDMI signal (or other video signal).

A kid is not going to have much fun without a working screen.

Just have to hide all your spare cables. Your design can also be bypassed with another power cable to the power pack so it's not much different.

Also what about a RFID based system so a family with many kids can use the same console...

    Just a few thoughts...

    Kind Regards

    Fred

I was hoping to find out if there was a sketch for the Arduino and a schematic for the circuit, I can probably figure the rest out.

    Of course, more pinball. image

If the power to the Xbox is cut, however, it will reset the clock. The clock can set itself when conected to the internet, but without that the date would keep resetting.

Brent, in my country exist a module for bathrooms, they can maintain the bathroom fan turned on after you get out and turn the lights off.

There is the pdf, i hope if you can find someting like it in a hardware-store or market

I had told my 7 yr old about this segment- and he said a similar thing- he wanted some warning so the game didn't turn off during an "imoprtant" play image

If you ever go back to do a version 2.0 I would add some IR outputs for different types of gaming systems. Say if you only had 30 seconds left on your token it would send out a IR message to an xbox so you would atleast have time to save your game and the system would shut down propperly. You could even add and after run time to the fans in the system could continue to cool down the system (if that system has that feature).
